The European team for the junior Ryder Cup has been announced.
The Junior Cup match against the USA will be played at Gleneagles, Scotland on September 27 and 28th
The Team was chosen after the European Young Masters at the Royal Balaton Golf and Country Club, Hungary.
The winner and runner up from both the boys and girls section made the team, as well as two wild card selections chosen by the Captain Gary Stangl.
The six under 18 players-3 boys and 3 girls were also announced based on their golfing performance throughout the year.
In the past the Junior Ryder Cup team has seen some successful players pass through it. Spaniard Sergio Garcia played in the Junior Team, before becoming part of the full European Team, Matteo Manassero played in 2008 and has since become a household name in golf and Alexis Thompson, who finished tied second in the Evian Masters last weekend.
